LUXEMBOURG, LU — Nordea Asset Management (NAM) has expanded further its ESG STARS range with the addition of Nordea 1 – US Corporate Stars Bond Fund (BP-USD: LU1933824283; BI-USD: LU1933824366) and Nordea 1 – North American High Yield Stars Bond Fund (BP-USD: LU1937720214; BI-USD: LU1937720487).

Both funds were launched in 2019 to meet the needs of NAM’s Nordic clients. Given the growing demand for ESG solutions across Europe and beyond, the funds have now been made available to NAM’s broader international client base.

The strategies are now part of the NAM’s ESG STARS range, under the Nordea 1 umbrella, and combine top-down and bottom-up investment with an ESG best-in-class approach that emphasizes positive screening to identify strong or improving ESG profiles while also respecting NAM’s Paris Aligned Fossil Fuel Policy.

“The two US fixed income solutions complement our ESG STARS line-up in order to offer our clients a broad selection of ESG solutions that enable them to build diverse portfolios. This expansion of our ESG building blocks brings our successful ESG STARS range to 19 products—which we intend to further expand going forward,” says Christophe Girondel, Global Head of Distribution, NAM. “With these funds, we offer clients additional solutions to help decarbonise their portfolios.”
